The
young Melbourne based practice were asked by a private client to
develop a modern design for their new residence on a large sloping
site (604 sqm) in Melbourne`s suburb Ascot Vale. The new owners
wanted the house to be mainly self-sustainable using natural resources
like rainwater and solar power.
The
property covers an area of 604 sqm and the constuction costs were
calculated with $2180 per sqm for a total building area of 321 sqm.
